Not alone. Not alike.
A wolf leaves the pack to find food for the ones it loves. On the way, it meets other wolves traveling alone. Each has its own identity, its own ambitions, its own responsibilities. They are not connected because they are identical. They are connected because they recognize something in one another.
That is the idea behind Lone Wolves.
Individuality without isolation. Independence without selfishness. Connection without losing yourself.
What it is
Lone Wolves is an independent journal. It publishes music, photography and visual culture, style, personal perspectives, and the creative people worth knowing about. It is not a feed and it does not follow a schedule. Things appear here when they are worth sharing.
Who is behind it
The journal was started by Yenn, an independent recording artist. His music and interests will appear here from time to time, next to the work of other artists, photographers, filmmakers and designers. The journal is not about one person. It is about a way of working.
What it is not
It is not about dominance, superiority or keeping people out. The wolf is a metaphor for responsibility, loyalty and purpose — for going your own way without forgetting who you are going for.
The name is broad on purpose. It is meant to grow.
